Welcome Marla!

Written by a CP Intakes Coordinator

Intakes was contacted last week about a “senior” girl in a shelter. She was surrendered because her family could no longer care for her. Due to her age, she was in danger of being euthanized. The shelter reached out to a local senior rescue group, who contacted Col Potter.

With the help of another VERY wonderful shelter worker, Marla was brought to our vet for her boarding and vetting. The shelter worker drove over an hour to get Marla safe!

Marla is reported to be very overweight, weighing in at a whopping 31 pounds! She is housetrained, and very sweet. She will be heading to TN for fostering, and for a program to get some of that weight off!

Welcome Marla! Thanks to all of you who support the efforts of Col Potter to help these “seniors“!
