It's Trick or Treaters for Col. Potter!

Written by CP's VP of Intakes

Halloween is deep and rich in myths, lore and the unknown. It dates back hundreds of years covering cults, witchcraft, rising from the dead, sacrificial ceremonies and more. Today, Halloween is pretty tame in comparison and is more a holiday of costume and merriment. Little Trick or Treaters arrive at your door dressed as today's superhero or princess with a brightly decorated bag to collect their treats. The tricks are all pretty much planned and staged at community events where everyone is then treated.

This past Saturday, 6 cairns were welcomed into rescue by Col. Potter.

Please get ready to open your doors to the Trick or Treaters:

Demon: Male, DOB 2/22/09, wheaten

Werewolf: Male, DOB 2/22/09, wheaten

Witch: Female, DOB 8/20/04, wheaten

Mummy: Female, DOB 7/27/06, black brindle

Ghost: Female, DOB 9/8/06, black brindle

Goblin: Female, DOB 10/20/04, black brindle

We almost weren't able to get any of these furkids because of the lack of foster homes. Some of our foster homes are working overtime and taking multiple fosters just so we can help as many as possible. We have already had to turn away cairns in need of rescue because we don't have space. PLEASE CONSIDER BECOMING A FOSTER HOME!!!! and click here. It will be a real TREAT for you!

It truly was a Happy Halloween and it will be a happily ever after for these Trick or Treaters!!
