Make your own handy gadget for collecting urine samples from your female dogs!

Contributed by a CP Volunteer

Ever need a urine sample for your dog and have trouble getting that soup ladle or what have you under your female dog? The photos below show a handy gadget designed just for this purpose by the creative husband of one of Col. Potter's Foster Moms. Made from a 24 oz. cottage cheese container cut into the shape of a ladle – this tool works great - just hold the handle, slide under the stream and you’ve got your sample!

As you can see, our foster homes use a great deal of ingenuity to accomplish their tasks with a minimum of expense. Thanks for sharing this great idea with us!
