Ferdinand Stops to Smell the Flowers at CP!

Ferdinand, a handsome 6 year old Wheaten Male

Most Cairn lovers will agree that Cairns can be a little "bull headed".  They also like to stomp around, snorting to show everyone just how tough they are.  Never one to back away from confrontation, or the lure of a good chase, our beloved Cairns are known as earth dogs because of their passion for digging and the "hunt".  However, those of us that truly know and love Cairns understand that inside they are, without a doubt, just lovers and not fighters.  Every Cairn loves to stop and smell the flowers along the Yellow Brick Road!

This week, a very handsome Cairn found his way to the loving arms of Col. Potter when he turned out to be a little too "bull headed" to suit his family.  We are pleased to present Ferdinand, a 6 year old male.  Many thanks to Monika R. for getting Ferdinand rounded up and for choosing to name him after her great nephew.  She also shared a delightful clip of Disney's Ferdinand the Bull -  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGTVRbpAuRo which you may remember, or enjoy for the first time!

May CP's Ferdinand have ample opportunity to smell the flowers along the way as he journeys to a wonderful Forever Home!
