A Safe Place for Senior Cairns

Contributed by Divinity's Dad

11 year old Tennyson suddenly found himself needing a new home and was lucky to have a Col. Potter Volunteer come to the rescue.

Many senior dogs have come into rescues across the nation due to the poor health of their elderly owners, strained financial conditions, or due to unanticipated conflict upon the introduction of young children to the home, in addition to the dogs whose usefulness has expired in the eyes of the commercial breeder.  Divinity's Blog presents a wonderful post about preparing your home for a senior dog, thanks to iHeartDogs.com.  Divinity, of course, was rescued and adopted at the age of nine, having spent her youth at a commercial breeding facility.  This informative post is presented with inspiration from Miss Divinity's wonderful Senior years from 2009 through 2014 and the highest of hopes for many other seniors who find themselves in need.

Miss Divinity continues to inspire awareness for the good of our Cairns!

Remember:  Love has no age limits!
