Happy Gilmore Breathes Easy with Col. Potter!

Written by a CP Intakes Coordinator

Happy Gilmore, an approximately 2 year old Wheaten Male

Intakes got an email the other morning from a shelter asking if Col. Potter could take this little guy.  If not, he would be euthanized that very day because he had kennel cough and they had no space in their quarantine kennels.

Charlene M. AGAIN responded to our urgent request for help and drove hours to pick him up and deliver him to the vet.  She said he’s just adorable and very happy (always smiling) – thus his name.   And she sent a little video of him on the exam table at the vet  - http://youtu.be/wg4Ocpqmci8

Interestingly, Charlene did not hear him cough one time during their long drive, and the vet is not convinced either.  We’ll find out more about that as he is fully vetted.

Happy Gilmore is estimated to be 2 years old and weighs 14.3 lbs.

Welcome to the CP family, Happy Gilmore!  You can breathe easy now!
