Tricks & Treats for Col. Potter!

Contributed by CP's VP of Intakes

Tricks, a sweet 13.5 lb. Black Brindle Female

Treats, a tiny little 10.9 lb. Wheaten Female

It's Halloween -- the day that children can live their fantasy as super heroes, princesses, mythical creatures, or spooky spirits.  Your doorbell rings and you're not quite sure what to expect standing at your door yelling “Boo!” and demanding "Trick or Treat!"  You graciously and happily hand out treats to all comers, reminiscing back to your childhood and reflecting on special memories of Halloweens gone by.

Halloween came early for two Cairns this year.  These two little girls were passed over several months ago and didn't get that chance to live out their fantasy of life in Freedom.  But, this time when the Col. Potter doorbell rang, there were no tricks for them, only treats as they waited at the door.  This past weekend they got to don the costume of Cairn Princess - as that is surely what they will become!

Let's give a big Halloween greeting to:

Tricks - F, Black Brindle, 13.15 lb., a friendly girl who loves to give kisses!

…and of course

Treats - F, Wheaten, 10.9 lb., just a little sprite of a girl who is very sweet, but a little scared of her new frightful world.

We're waiting on our vet to give us an estimate of age for these girls.

Happy Halloween to all, but especially Tricks & Treats!
