OHHHH MYYY I was So surprised to see ERNIE!!!
ReplyDeleteHe's the donkey who was rescued by a horse rescue group... they couldn't pass him up. He was listed as 'coyote bait'.... how horrible. He was $80... and the rescuers came up with their OWN funds out of their own wallets to save him.
If you look closely, you will see that you can't see his sides under his blanket..... that is because he's grossly underweight from being totally neglected and not fed.
YET this boy has the sweetest personality. LOVES people... he runs up to meet and greet anyone who comes near his paddock. he just wants attention.. the llamas and alpaca rescued who share his paddock couldn't care less about humans.... but ERNIE just gets so happy to be even noticed. He's at an all animal not cats and dogs, rescue in Maine.
He has to GAIN 100 lbs before they can even geld him... that's how neglected he has been.
... so keep him in your little prayers.... he clearly has the CAIRN-ITUDE...
