Jamilla & Zaina Leap into Col. Potter!

Written by a CP Intakes Coordinator

Jamilla, a Playful 7.5 year old Wheaten Female

Zaina, a Sweet 7.5 year old Black Brindle Female

A shelter contacted a Col. Potter Volunteer about these Cairn girls and she then contacted Intakes to see if we could help get them out of that shelter.  Intakes went to work right away to make that happen.

Jamilla and Zaina are sisters and have always been together, and they are estimated to be 7 1/2 years old.  Jamilla is the Wheaten girl, and her name means “Beautiful”.  Her picture shows some fur is missing and that she has a lot of brindle through her, and we know she is going to be very beautiful once her coat grows back in.  Zaina is the Dark Brindle girl and her name means “Queen”, which is exactly what she will be treated like, now that she is a part of the CP family!

We are hoping that these girls can stay together as they are very attached to each other and love to play together.  They have been seen having fun, playing leap frog together.  The girls are now safely in a very special foster home that agreed to take them both.  We hope that there is a Forever Home out there that is looking for two Beautiful girls that deserve to be treated like Queens!

Please give a Warm Welcome to Jamilla and Zaina!
