This voyage only brought two Cairns to the New World of Col. Potter. We were told there would be four on this week's voyage, but two lucky sailors already found their forever in the New World and have been adopted. I was told that one was adopted by one of the volunteers who fell in love with her and couldn't bear to let her leave. The other was adopted by an elderly couple that recently had to let their Cairn go to the Rainbow Bridge. They didn't think they would be able to handle a young or wild Cairn and they found a wonderful, little bit older companion in this group.
Today, I would like to introduce you to the King and Queen that funded and made Columbus' voyages to the New World possible:
Queen Isabella
King Ferdinand
My thanks once again to Marlene T. for providing the vessel to make the King and Queen's crossing to the New World possible!
Just as in Columbus' day, he needed the backing and support of King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella to fund his many voyages in the uncharted waters and discover the wealth and beauty that awaited in the new world. Today is no different, and CP appreciates all your monetary help and support in assisting these Cairns find their way to the wealth and beauty of freedom in the loving arms of Col. Potter. Please remember to vote in the Petfinder contest (Click on "Click Here to Give - it's FREE!". Then scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "The Animal Rescue Site $100,000 Shelter + Challenge" Enter the Shelter Name as Col. Potter and choose Ohio for the state, click search and then click VOTE) and consider giving a donation to Col. Potter as a holiday gift for an animal lover on your gift list. There are many different options for a donation from Naming a PM Kid, to being a Guardian Angel or Grandparent or just doing your holiday shopping from the CP Mall or one of our affiliated businesses that give a commission to Col. Potter. These voyages are costly and we couldn't keep sailing without all of you!
Please help me welcome King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella to Col. Potter!
