Candy Treats for Col. Potter!

Written by CP's VP of Intakes
A miller who we've received several other Cairns from contacted me last week wanting to release two more females from their life of breeding and give them a chance at a sweet life. As we've said many times, there really are different degrees of millers and the one these girls come from is definitely up towards the top of the better ones. They all have names, she knows their birthdates, they do get touched and handled by people and even get exercise and play time. But best of all she doesn't breed them until they are old and simply can't breed any more. She releases them when they reach middle age. At this point, with the economy the way it is and puppies not selling, she's downsizing and so these two got their chance at freedom and learning what a life filled with treats will be like.

Our Candy Treats are:

Praline: F, DOB 1/1/04, 15.8 pounds, red wheaten - she's quiet and friendly and was a little jealous wanting more attention when it wasn't her turn for bathing and grooming yesterday. She likes to sit and watch what is going on around her and really seemed to love getting her bath.

Nougat: F, DOB 6/12/05, 10/4 pounds, wheaten - she's a little live wire and ready to grab this new life with all four paws! She likes to talk and has already given kisses!

My thanks to Kathy H. for making the trip to pick-up our sweet Candy Treats.
