NOW BLOWING INTO CP...WIND OF CHANGE

Written by CP's VP of Intakes

I'm a rock n roller so I find inspiration from many classic rock songs. Much of what we do in rescue is very well said by the Scorpions in their classic "Wind of Change".

The world is closing in, did you ever think that we could be so close?
The future's in the air, I can feel it everywhere blowing with the wind of change. Take me to the magic of the moment on a glory night, where the children of tomorrow dream away in the wind of change.
Walking down the street, distant memories are buried in the past forever.
The wind of change blows straight into the face of time,
Like a storm wind that will ring the freedom bell for peace of mind.

Recently, three little Cairns felt the Wind of Change. Their futures are now safe with Col. Potter. The past storm winds they have endured will blow no more for they have now rung the bell of freedom.... all thanks to CP and the Wind of Change.

With the magical whistling of this amazing song playing in the background, I present Wind of Change:

Alize: 2 year old female, red wheaten, is cute as a button and ready to retire from her life as a breeding mom. When she first came to CP they thought she was pregnant but further exams have shown that is not the case.

Gale: 2 years old, red wheaten, and sister to Alize. Gale recently whelped a litter of puppies herself. Her name reflects the strength and resolve this little girl has.

Cyclone: A 4 years old male red wheaten. Cyclone is a petite, handsome little man who was also the father of Alize's puppies.

My special thanks to Carolynne M. and Paula F. for their help with Wind of Change.

These three Cairns have now been transported to the magic of the moment on a glory night, where the children of tomorrow dream away in the Wind of Change ...
