A Warm Welcome to PJ!

PJ - 4 year old, Cream Wheaten Female

'Tis the season to go over the river and through the woods to grandmother's house we go...  The memories created over a lifetime from the love, care and guidance of our mothers and grandmothers is something that helps to mold and shape each of us as people.  At this time of year, these memories are especially vivid and sweet and none more so than of those who are no longer with us.

This little girl has no such warm and special memories of anything in her life up to this point, but that all changed when she found her way to the Col. Potter family!  Each day is now the unfolding of a new life for her, a life that will be filled with love, care, and guidance of everything she has missed in life to this point. This little girl is now at the start of her journey to a happily ever after!

She was named from the “Name A Cairn” Program with a name donated by the BoD of CP in honor and memory of a special lady who left us earlier this year, Peggy Johns, Mo K.'s mother, best known for her quilts, made and donated to help the furkids.  I'm lucky enough to have several quilts with a label that reads: "Made with love - Mom ... Mo"

Please help me welcome PJ, a 4 year old cream female.  I'm quite sure there is a very special angel watching over this little girl tonight, while working on a quilt...
