Two
weeks ago, Col. Potter Intakes received an email from a friend in rescue. This rescue group works tirelessly to help
Amish mill dogs find safety and a new life as beloved pets. We have worked with
this group before, and quite a few of our CP Cairns have them to thank for
making their way to us.
Saturday,
two beautiful Cairns
joined our family: Ellabell - eight years old, a stunning Gray Brindle girl
weighing 16 pounds, and Teddi DonEllyn - a four
to five year old big Wheaten boy,
coming in at just under 20 pounds.
Our
rescue angel, who dropped everything to retrieve them, named Teddi in
memory of her beloved cairn: Ted of DonEllyn
They
both have been wagging their tails and, while scared, all reports have been
that they are both friendly and sweet. They are currently getting their spa
treatments, and will be moving to their foster homes next Saturday.
