Galecki Escapes to the Safety of Col. Potter!

Written by a CP Intakes Coordinator

Galecki, a now-lucky 26 lb. Wheaten Male
Some boys don’t have an easy life.  Sometimes their humans are not kind.  Take poor Galecki, who had a zip-tie fastened tightly around his neck, cutting into his skin.  He somehow ended up at a shelter where, in addition to being in pain, he was scared.  There was not much hope or interest from visitors to the shelter.  His time was running out.  Lucky for him, his rescue angel appeared at the shelter to do work for another rescue group.  She saw Galecki, knew his end was near, and could not leave him behind.

She pulled him, brought him up to date on his vet care, and contacted Col. Potter to see if we could help.  As luck would now have it, we could!

Galecki is estimated to be 3-4 years old, and is 26 pounds, and he is now a lucky CP kid. No more zip-ties… No more shelters...  This boy deserves much better!!

Thanks to all his angels who helped this lucky boy get to his Foster Home!

Welcome, Galecki!
