Lomond, an approximately 2
year old Gray Brindle Male
|
Who
hasn't heard of Loch Lomond, the largest lake in Scotland
and a popular tourist region for its association with the 18th century outlaw
Rob Roy! We all have heard the song with
the famous chorus:
"Oh,
ye'll tak' the high road, and I'll tak' the low road,
And
I'll be in Scotland
afore ye;
But
me and my true love will never meet again
On
the bonnie, bonnie banks o' Loch Lomond"
Now
it's unsure if Col. Potter's Lomond has ever had a true love or been an outlaw,
and I'm quite certain he's never been to Scotland, but the description we were given
of him does resemble many of the characteristics associated with the name
Lomond, i.e., spontaneous, versatile, congenial, strong willed, self
sufficient, happy, and generous. Kind of sounds like a Cairn, doesn't it?
We
don't have much background on Lomond, but believe he is younger male, maybe 2
years old, who has a past only he really knows. Our thanks to Kenneth and
Deirdre for their help in Lomond's travel to reach CP. No matter whether
he now takes the high road or the low road, all roads within CP will lead him
to a happy forever!
Please
give a warm Scottish CP Welcome to Lomond!
