Reiki Finds his Life Force with Col. Potter!

Reiki, a happy 3-5 year old Wheaten Male

Please welcome Reiki (pronounced “Ray-key”), a very friendly and happy little 3-5 year old Cairn.  He came to Col. Potter from a shelter and is heading straight to his Foster home.

He is very thin at 13 lbs. and we’re expecting that good food (and lots of it) will get his weight up to normal.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.  It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive.  If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

We are guessing it won’t take long for our little Reiki to have High life force energy flowing through him, because of the love and care he’ll receive in his foster home.
