Hilda, a sweet 8 year old Black Brindle Female |
Please
help us Welcome a sweet 8 yr old, Black Brindle Cairn girl who is very grateful
to join the Col. Potter family! Hilda
was abandoned by her owners at their vacated home. After her discovery, Hilda was delivered to a
high volume shelter. When CP learned that Hilda needed prompt rescue,
this poor girl was swooped up by a CP volunteer. Hilda had been
neglected, was about two pounds underweight at 13 lbs, her coat was dirty and
dry, her skin was irritated from flea bites, and she was desperately in need of
dental attention. Despite her suffering, Hilda is very sweet with both
people and other dogs. Hilda is currently enjoying a spa week where she
will begin her journey to being a loved pet, and she will soon make her way to
her Foster Home.
Hilda's name was generously donated through
Col. Potter's Name a Rescue Cairn Program. What a wonderful way to honor
someone special and help a Cairn too! Thank you Edward B. for your support. Hilda is named in honor of Edward
B.'s wife of 67 years - and still going strong!
