Sunday Sweets!

Sunday is full of SWEETS!  Each week we showcase the sweeter side of Cairns.  If you have a sweet filled Cairn and would like us to consider YOUR photo for an upcoming "Sunday Sweets!" send it to us at cpcrnblog@gmail.com (All photo submissions become the property of CPCRN and may be used for fundraising, promotion and/or outreach purposes.).

Please give a warm welcome to Kit&  Kat. This sweet pair (Kit is in top photo and Kat
is the bottom photo).  This bonded pair have been best buddies but their owner's family were
recently faced with the difficult decision to have to surrender them due to a change in
family's circumstances.   These mini schnauzers are so sweet, you wouldn't want to break them apart like you might want to break apart a Kit Kat bar!  Welcome Kit Kat and may this summer bring you your new home!  So precious!

Freemont is recovering nicely from his surgery to fix front leg and he's almost cone free!  We all known how much our pooches love to wear the cone of shame.  This little munchkin would love to spend some lazy (and some not so lazy) summer afternoon with his new person or persons.  He's cute as a button!  Adopt me!

This is adorable Hines, who is 1 year old with a beautiful red coat (and that nose is so adorable).  He ws found at a shelter and thanks to Denise S., who drove 7 hours to bring him to his foster mom, Claudia S., you can see how happy he is!

A little love goes a long way.  Hines thanks  Denise S. and Claudia S. for lending some calm love and  protection to make him more confident and ready to find his forever home.  His face is just so cute with his fuzzy, fuzzy beard!  Adopt me!

This is terrified Winston H., a 2 year old 11 pound, munchkin who was found in a box on the side of the road, where he was found by a Guardian Angel who brought him to a local shelter and he's now welcomed at the CPCRN table.  Adopt me!

Poor little Jonas was a much loved member of his family but his parent died and he ended up at a shelter, where he was justifiably terrified.  Lisa B. and Lynn B. swooped into the rescue and Lisa B. drove hours and hours to bring this little guy to the welcoming arms of his foster mom Lisa B. and he's been gaining confidence every day.  Do I sense I foster fail??   We wish you all the best Jonas!
