Remembering all the Cairns who have come and gone.

***********Each and every one, Forever in our hearts!!!!***********

Sweet Sophie never met a blanket or quilt she didn’t love!

Baby D say’s Mommy thought I was the  perfect CARIN on Luggage!

Here is Mischief, Cairn Terrier Extraordinaire, Queen of the WORLD, who ruled the family (Daddy’s favorite child), the house, the yard, the neighborhood and all she surveyed for 15 1/2 years! Adorable puppy shot from back in the day when we were young. She was looking sweet… just before she got into MISCHIEF!

CP Gustav, aka Gus, hopefully running free of blindness

among friends, gave us 10 years of happiness to our family.

Wookie will be gone 6 months tomorrow. He is missed so very much.  I miss his little bark alerting me to food time the most. He would wake up and walk to the gate, even being blind and deaf he always knew where the gate was!  He loved his food, snacks, small walks and especially napping by the fire place.  He was my favorite little old man and my Wookie cookie.

CP’s Lana Turner. Pulled from puppy mill in 2003, passed at 17 yrs old of old age.  A doggie diplomat who kept the pack in line.  Ever so gentle and loving, truly a Momma’s girl.

CP’s Huey.  Adopted as a puppy in 2004, passed at 14 yrs old of cancer.  A favorite of everyone who met him.  So playful and fun-loving; could make a game of anything (such as leaping to catch the sprinkler’s water spray).

CP’s Aingeal Yani.  Saved from the streets in 2012, passed at 15 yrs old of cancer.  Never-ending energy; always looking for new adventure; knew every trick in the book; loved his agility classes.

Nikos and Raquel, together again

Hospice foster Punkin Pie, crossed the Rainbow Bridge loved .

Annie Laurie...2 years and 7 months of enjoying freedom thanks to Col Potter

On Friday we set Marcello free.  His kidneys and liver were failing and he had a large tumor in his liver which was pressing on everything else and near to bursting.

We knew this day would come and so we spent the last few months giving him even more of the best possible life he could have.

He was well loved, charmed everyone he met, and quietly bent us to his will.

I love him so very much.

Thanks to Sandy Yost for fostering him and delivering him into our lives.

Thank you to Col Potter for trusting us with the most precious gift.

Fostered by Doreen Walker

Each of my furbabies get their own song that I give them and Rye's song is: Happiest Girl in the Whole USA

So loved by both her Momma and Dad

Gwen. My first pup ever, my only cairn. She was the sweetest pup that has ever lived! She loved sunbathing, eating popcorn, apples, and cucumbers, traveling, sticking her face out the window on low speed car rides in our neighborhood, and being with her mama. She was my soulmate and I miss her everyday. She passed away at 15-1/2 on April 3, 2021.

Lilly- she always knew when we were having a tough day- she’d come cuddle and put her head in my lap. So miss that tender sweet girl- our Lillybell.

Kenzie loved everyone--men, women, children, babies. Best Cairn ever!

Honey Girl:  1st Cairn, outstanding mentor to many CP fosters, always and forever in my heart

Willie Mac:   sweet, mellow personality, foster promoted to Forever, best buddy to CP male fosters

Meeka:         CP mill Mama foster, promoted to Forever, became a special mentor dog to fosters from puppy mills

Lacey Jayne:  Came out of the Katrina aftermath, HW+, promoted from foster to Forever; mentor to puppies

Pip:              Australian Terrier, CP foster promoted to Forever; happy personality even when blind and deaf

Carver aka CP Carver. He passed away April 12, 2022 with complications due to Diabetes.  The most thing I will always remember him, are his eyes. Just the innocent look he always gave me melted my heart

I will always Love him and I really do miss him. He was a small dog (baby) in a big dog package.

My little Krysia was lovingly set free on May 6, 2022.  She

did not suffer long but she was so embarrassed or upset when

her little bladder just gave out.  My memories of her are so full.

she loved to do tricks and would make sure we did them every night.

Her favorite was to play "stay"  and "come"  she would run to me so happy.

In the evenings, she would cuddle in my lap and play "Paw" .  Her brother Drugi,

always protected her.  She loved to run and sometimes not when I wanted her

to run.  She was just my silly little girl.  Her favorite thing was to sit in the front

seat when we went through the car wash.  She was fascinated by the water

and the soap.  She would sometimes try to catch some.  Could not figure out

why the window would not allow her to play.  We miss her every day.  She was 14 years young.  She is the little Wheaton

Ruffy…..the sweetest Therapy dog ever!  He loved visiting kiddos in the hospital and helping them read in school. They loved seeing Toto!  He touched so many!

Sweet Harmony a former Mill dog didn't have 1 dog characteristic

when she arrived with us, she was making great strides on

becoming a dog when Cancer Stole her from us a year after we took her in.

Jacques was an older owner surrender along with his sister

Mabelline. When they first arrived , The wouldn't leave each others side.

He was a mans dog and his daddy misses him so much

Mabelline like her brother Jacques Above only lived a year

longer than Jacques. Now they are together Again

Mouse had a heart murmer and one day his lil ole heart just

up and gave out. He came back in from from a potty in the yard,

Laid down in his favorite spot, called his daddy over and gave daddy kisses,

Laid down and Crossed the bridge within seconds. He was A Real Mommies Boy

Albert J was young and quite the hider. For a beefy solid boy, he would hide

in the tiniest of places, such as under an antique Victorola, or

even in the middle of a freshly mowed lawn.

Zoey was a smart girl, She would untie her knotted ropes and

knotted rope balls with out ever breaking a strand on it
