This week, I took Bling in for his first puppy shot and check-up. He is 9 weeks old already and weighs 5 lbs. Bling was a little suck up, giving the vet lots of kisses. No complaints when he got his shot either. He rode quietly all the way there and back. It must have been hard work to be so good though. Bling is running with the Big Dogs - on video!

Bling is 5 weeks and a little over 3 lbs now. Since Bling has no siblings, it is important for him to socialize with the resident dogs. I had not planned on letting them mingle so early, but Bling really needed to learn some doggy manners. Bling had no fear being out and about with my girls or to the big surroundings of a whole room. He acted like he had always hung out with them and the girls treated him the same way.....no big deal.

Below is a little video of Bling and Tootsie and WuWu. Also in the album is what happens after you run with the Big Dogs......you need a nap! Bling went and crawled in this doggie bed when he got tired and went to sleep. After a long nap on the blue bed, Bling went in search of a new bed to try out. It so happens he found Muffy's favorite spot, so Bling ended up with a bed friend in short order.

Ling is learning to play!

Ling has shown some interest in toys, so I gave her one of the skinneez rabbits tonight and she seems to love it. She was carrying it and moving back and forth between both sides of the expen, then she would stop to pull on it and actually squeaked it once.

Bling is getting much more playful and I am wondering if he is bringing out some puppy in Ling.

Check out my new digs in the video! It is BIG and it is CLEAN and it has TOYS! If Col. Potters wouldn't have rescued my mom Ling and me, I would have been born in a dirty cramped wire cage, exposed to cold, rain and maybe even snow.

I hear there is even matchmakers who will find us the perfect home. I hope my home has lots of toys and maybe a playmate. Thank You Col. Potters People for saving us!

Here is a little photo op of Bling. He is getting around quite well now and will give little kisses. He doesn't play much with no siblings, but we are trying to stimulate him until he is old enough to leave the whelp room and watch the resident dogs interact and play. Foster dad played with him a little tonight and even got a tough boy grrrr:)
