Col. Potter Transport Volunteers!

Contributed by CP Volunteers

Spring is here – believe it or not! – and families are starting to think about Summer travel, so what better time to reflect on the travel involved in saving Cairns in need?

Col. Potter Cairn Rescue Network (CPCRN) Transport Volunteers travel a combined average of 15,000+ miles each month…

…averaging 187,064 miles every year…

…totaling 2, 244,768 miles - and counting!

A single transport can take 10 or more drivers and cover more than 800 miles!

Without the quick response of the Transport team, many times Fosters have to be boarded - costing Col. Potter hundreds of dollars that could otherwise be spent saving another life!

THE WINDY CITY KIDS VII ARE HERE!

Written by CP's VP of Intakes

This week, three more Windy City Kids made their way into the loving arms of Col. Potter.

For those new or unfamiliar with the history of the Windy City Kids, they come from a famed Cairn breeder who in her elderly years has become unable to care for and support her dogs. Col. Potter has been working with her for the past three years to reduce her numbers and find loving, forever homes for her Cairns.

Holding with our Chicago theme, our Windy City VII are named after some Chicago area airports:

Meigs is a 6-7 year old black brindle and the mother of Palwaukee

Palwaukee is a 1 year old cream colored female and the daughter of Meigs

O'Hare is a 6-7 year old male red wheaten

Please help me WELCOME the Windy City Kids VII!!!
