CP foster Corky has been chosen!

It is with real mixed feelings that I share with all of Corky's loving aunties and uncles that he has been chosen by a family.The family lives in Canada. His Mommy and Daddy like to camp and hike and kayak so Corky will have lots of fun in his new life. Man are we going to miss this little boy!!!!!

They originally said they'd get him at the end of the month because his new daddy recently had some surgery he had to recuperate from. Now they're coming the 20th....ACK! That's not the end of the month. They're getting antsy because Corky is such a great little guy. They've enlarged one of his photos and posted it on their refrigerator and everyone is eager to meet our Corky.

I didn't get any answer when I asked if they have a good digital camera, know how to use it, and know how to send photos in emails. I am going to write again and tell them this is an***absolute*** requirement. If they don't know now they'd better get hopping!!!

We'd all like to see updates on this sweet little guy. Thanks to CP for saving Corky and to his foster mom and dad for helping him with his skin issues. He looks and feels so much better now.

We've had so darn much rain here that our dog run is a quagmire.
Corky has graduated from wearing jammies to wearing a
t-shirt. He seems to leave his back legs alone. It's his front
legs he will lick occasionally and his right shoulder that he
scratches with his back paw that I want to protect. So, he's
wearing a cute baseball shirt. However, with the mud under the
straw his shirt soon became speckled with mud. Apparently he
needs what the dog in the second photo has....mudflaps. LOL
Alan said he would NOT try to contrive...

The last photo is Corky and Gilly sitting so they can be offered
treats. Such good boys!

Corky is really a nice little boy and he definitely deserves to feel more comfortable that he had in years. He fits in here as if he's been here for months. He's really a good little kidletwho gives kisses and loves to be talked baby talk to. His sweet little tail wags and wags when I murmur sweet nothings in his ears.

He (obviously) likes Gilly's bed. That's Gilly's bed under the terry tablecloth as well as a bed pad underneath that. It's easy to pop the covers on the bed and in Corky's crate and his jammies in the washing machine every few days.

I am waiting for a bit longer to give him his CP blankie in his bed. I will send photos at that time. I think he's doing well on lots of protein, meds, and comfy surroundings. I do believe he's got some hair growing on his tail.
