Another Cute Little Girl Finds Safety and Freedom!

Another rescue group was picking up some dogs from a puppy miller. One Cairn was among the dogs the miller was releasing - could Col. Potter help by taking her? Normally, this other rescue would have been able to help this little Cairn, but not today. Every rescue is so full and there are more and more dogs that need rescue help, but none more so than those released from a puppy mill. And so, Friday afternoon Karin M. met the rescue angel and brought this adorable little girl into the safety and loving arms of Col. Potter.

Please help me welcome:

Esther - DOB 3/04 - Esther came to us already spayed as she had such a hard time whelping her last litter, the miller had her spayed and thus the reason for her release to rescue. She is shy, but not terrified and willingly came out of her crate and snuggled right into Karin's arms. Esther had even been given a bath prior to release and has a beautiful harsh, thick coat. She's going to be a gorgeous, sweet little girl in no time at all!

Little girls like Esther would never know safety and love without Col. Potter and without all of you, there is no Col. Potter. Our fundraiser - "New Leash on Life" is struggling, and as always, we need foster homes for these furkids. We are still in the midst of the busiest time for puppy mill releases. Couple that with the upcoming holidays and many foster homes preferring to wait until after the holidays to take on another foster and we unfortunately have a scenario none of us want to think about - Cairns being left behind to die.
