Totoro Takes a New Road to Col. Potter!

Written by a CP Intakes Coordinator

Totoro, a sweet 2-3 year old  Black Brindle Male

As you read our new Col. Potter Boy’s name you may well have been thinking “What kind of name is this?”  Well, it is said that Totoros are mythical Japanese critters that bring happiness to small children and families.

This darling little boy was given as a gift to bring happiness - just like a mythical Totoro.   Unfortunately, this gift was not a success.  Totoro was not appreciated, and he spent most of his early life with limited exposure to people and other dogs.  Happily, someone made the decision that he deserved as much happiness as he was capable of giving.  A kind lady took him in and started him down the road to happiness, and she gave him love, and introduced him to some canine companionship.  This kind lady contacted CP to see if we could help him continue on his journey, and we were happy to say “Yes!”

Totoro is 2-3 yrs. old and reported to be very sweet, ready to bring much happiness to his Forever home.  A very special thanks to our wonderful Transport Volunteers, Mike, Kara, & Tammy, for helping Totoro down that first stretch of the Road to Happiness.

Welcome Totoro!!
