Well they’re not really lost (and never were), but Tootles, Curly, and Nibs did find their way to Col. Potter’s for “Everland” and we are happy to welcome them all!
Their
names come from characters in Peter Pan’s Lost Boys, a play written by J.M.
Barrie. In the play, the very young boys
fall out of their prams when the nurse is not looking and were lost by their
nannies. Having gone unclaimed for seven days, they were whisked off to
Neverland where they live with Peter Pan.
CP's
Lost Boys didn't fall out of anybody's pram, but they did live in a land
where they never got enough love and attention, having to share their human,
space, and attention with a large group of other dogs. They were loved and
cared for, but living in a land with so many other dogs brought
out the Terrier in them, and their pack mentality took over, and they, quite
naturally, tried to be ultimate rulers of their land. With our pixie
shoes and hats on, CP swung into action to bring these boys safely to CP's
for"Everland".
These
3 sweet boys are brothers and just
celebrated their 8th birthday. They each have their own
personalities and quirks and are looking forward to flying off in search of
their next adventure and new life on their own.
Please Welcome Tootles, Curly, and Nibs!
