A Cairn recently rescued from a puppy mill is lost. She escaped mill life this week and was transported to her foster home Saturday. Something scared her that night around 10:00 pm and she broke away from her foster parents and ran. She is a 2-3 year old, wheaten cairn named Heidi.The foster home is in Peoria, Illinois which is about 1 hr and 15 minutes from Springfield and about 1 hr and 45 minutes from Urbana.
It is very cold and the ground is covered in snow so please send prayers for this little cairn girl that she survives and makes it home safely. They have not found any tracks in the snow as a lead.
