Col. Potter worked some magic again: rescuing a true cairn in need. This week, a new cairn boy joined CP. His name is Zachary, a 7 year old wheaten boy. Poor Zachary found himself in need of a new home when his owner's husband passed from cancer. Mom couldn't manage all of her charges, take on a new full time job to support herself, and grieve for her far too soon loss, so she knew the best thing to do was find homes for her kids.
She placed ads,and luckily for Zachary, one of CPs volunteers with eyes always watching for cairns in need alerted the Rescue Team. Sadly, another of her cairns, a female, was placed 'Free To A Good Home' before we became aware of the situation. We sure hope the home was a very loving one! We made the promise to Zachary's owner, the one we make with every Owner Surrender, that we will take good care of him, and find a loving adoptive home for him. Thanks to all of your efforts, I can say that proudly, and know that we all work very hard to ensure the best for our cairns! Thanks to Carrie Y. who picked up this little one!! Welcome Zachary!!
