MAGIC IS OUT OF SURGERY AND HE IS DOING VERY WELL!!

Magic is out of surgery and he did just GREAT!

The surgeon didn't find anything more than what the xrays had shown or what he had expected. Magic's pelvis has now had a plate pinned to it to support and brace the pelvis where it had been fractured in the four places. He will be monitored very closely tonight to keep him off that leg and allow his body to once again catch up to even further trauma caused by the surgery. Tomorrow will be a day of rest and healing for Magic.

Then the rehabilitation and therapy will begin, slowly at first, with just allowing Magic to stand on his repaired pelvis and leg for the first week and then gradually increasing after that. It's been two weeks since the accident, he literally hasn't used any of his legs for that length of time. Even the front legs that weren't injured will also need to slowly regain their strength and stamina from muscles that have atrophied.

But, the WORST IS NOW BEHIND MAGIC! He has certainly lived up to his name and continues to amaze all that he touches.
