Written by a CP Intakes volunteer
Slattery is yet another little senior cairn boy who found himself in a shelter with very little chance of getting out alive. The shelter manager contacted Col. Potter and asked if we could take him. A few days ago he became part of the CP family
One of the shelter volunteers reports that “he’s a sweetheart – very calm for a terrier. He loves going for walks but because of his age (estimated to be 8-10 years old) and his weight, he couldn’t walk as far or as fast as he wanted to. With a little portion control of his food and short walks every day he could become a wonderful little walking companion and friend. He loves rolling in the grass and having his belly rubbed.”
Welcome to the good life, Slattery!
