Darcy, a 13lb, 3 year old bundle of energy, was surrendered by his owner to a local shelter. He was deemed adoptable but with qualifications: “Adopter has to have knowledge and experience with the breed and no children”. It seems Darcy was very nervous in the shelter environment. The shelter explained that a small and appealing dog such as Darcy would normally have been adopted quickly, but with these qualifications, Darcy had been at the shelter for quite a while, and his future was undetermined.
Col. Potter, of course, took him in because CP understands the terrier temperament. Please give Darcy a warm CP welcome!
