Durango Update 6/13/08 - Written By His Foster Mom

Durango came through his surgery in good shape and is resting in his crate as I type this. He had some pain medication a couple of hours ago and seems to be comfortable. Since the bandage wrap on his leg is new, he is not very good at moving around and whimpers when movement is involved. Poor little guy can't have anything to eat until tomorrow so glad he is sleeping. Wait just a minute--he has a few words he would like to share with you---

Welcome Dream and Durango!

A family in Texas was re-locating and found themselves unable to take their 1 1/2 yr old Cairn male, Durango, and their 6 mo old female, Dream. Lucky for these two they contacted Col. Potter. Last weekend our rescue angel brought these two adorable pups into the Col's welcoming arms. Dream is your typical 6 month old puppy, full of fun and run. Little Durango is as cute as can be. He has been found to have a broken leg and through the generosity of Col Potter he will have it fixed this week. Hopefully this will enable him to run and play like the youngster he is. Durango has been placed into our Guardian Angel program. Please consider helping us take care of this little one, every little bit helps. Join me in welcoming our latest Col. Potter kids.
