A Toyland Nap - Written by their Foster Mom

I took these Thursday night. Martha, Betsy and Percy all three curled up together in the middle of a toy pile. Tory wasn't quite ready for a nap yet! They are very sweet when they are sleeping. :) Martha is in the front, Betsy left rear and Percy right rear. Tory, of course, is on the one on the move.

Lexi's Puppies With Their New Blankies!

The following update was "written" by Percy:

We love our new blankets and toy ropes, but did not preciate foster mom making us get our pictures took. We don't like to sit still when there are new things to check out. Betsy and Martha even got snotty and growled. Of course angel that I am, I posed like a good boy.

Lexi's Little Ones - More Puppy Pictures!

Lexi's puppies each weigh just over 2 pounds and they're big enough to have their own play area. They are eating "puppy mush" and only nursing a couple of times a day to take the burden off of their tiny Mama, Lexington. Lexi's Foster Mom sent us these cute, cute pictures of the puppies and one tired Mama!

Togetherness! - Written By Their Foster Mom

I walked into the puppy room and found Percy and Martha like this and had to get a picture. These kids have never been cuddly with each other; they all like their own space and have certain spots they seek out in the puppy box.

Yesterday, I noticed that Percy and Betsy's eyes are starting to open. Betsy also got up on all fours and took a wobbly step!

Lexi's Patriotic Pups - Written By Their Foster Mom

I tried to get some patriotic pictures of the puppies in honor of Memorial Day. Let’s just say they were not impressed with this idea, except for Percy who took it all in stride and is seen as the single puppy in many of the pictures. He is such a good boy!

Lexington is a sweet girl. She has learned to trust me with herself and the puppies. The monster Foster Dad is another story! Lexi didn't mind one bit when I took the pups for pictures and was just as good when I set her up on the bed to take her picture, although she was curious about what was around her and kept moving to check things out. She did seem to enjoy the soft bed, so I think she would like this privilege in her forever home!! :)

Lexi - Puppy Tummies and Update - Written By Their Foster Mom

Lexington's puppies are growing like little pigs! Monday night Martha was at 9 1/4 oz, Percy 8 5/8 oz, Tory 7 3/8 oz and Betsy 7 3/4 oz. Betsy is already showing the most attitude and complains when picked up and puts up quite a fight when her toenails are trimmed.

Lexington is doing well and has relaxed into her job as Mom. She seems to be a very smart girl and understands exactly what I am doing after we do it once, and that I am helping her.

Lexington's Puppies Day 6 - Pictures

All the puppies are doing great and putting on weight. They still have a long way to go before they are as big as their puppy toys in the pictures!

Lexington And Her Babies - Day 4

Lexington and the puppies went to see the doctor. The trip was far from peaceful. The puppies let it be known that they were not happy being in a separate crate from mama Lexi. No shortage of lung power here.

The puppies had their dew claws removed and Lexi was checked over due to no appetite. A slight infection in the drainage she is having after whelping seems to the problem and she is now on an antibiotic and already feeling better and eating a little more.

The puppies are eating like little pigs now. Tory the smallest is up to 5 ounces. Martha does not want her weight revealed! All are active and doing great!

A Lexington and Family Update From Her Foster Mom

Lexington is starting to relax a bit and the puppies are having a much easier time nursing with less help from me. They are all quite active and seem to doing well. I will be checking their weights a little later to make sure everyone is getting enough to eat. Three of the puppies are reddish brown and the fourth, one of the littlest girls, has a more blackish coloring.
