Welcome The Magnet!

Word came through the rescue grapevine that there was a young cairn in a shelter that needed help NOW! He was an owner surrender to the shelter which means the legal hold period that a stray is afforded does not apply. An owner surrender may be PTS (put to sleep) in a short time depending on the surrender conditions and the shelter's policy. Contacted by one of her rescue pals, Ruth H. got the wheels in motion to save this boy.

Magnet is just barely a year old. He has some bare spots from being outside in a pen where he rubbed the cage so much he caused bare spots on himself, all he wanted was human attention and affection. The attention he got was to be taken to the shelter. With a good diet and some grooming he will be one handsome guy. (Check out his "after grooming" pictures below!) In honor of Ruth's animal magnetism, this cutie will now be known as Magnet! Ruth says he has beautiful brown eyes - sounds like his magnetic powers are at work already! Better days are ahead for you, Magnet - may you attract only good things in the future.
