Saturday, Col Potter welcomed the Finger Lake Family into the fold. Many thanks to a rescue friend of CP, who worked long hours over the past YEAR to get these three puppy mill kids released from the mill. We've been told that these three would come right up to the front of their kennel for attention from passersby. They have spent long years as breeder dogs, and finally will know the love of a family, soft spots to rest, good food, clean water, soft whispers of love.
Please welcome:
Dad's Penny - a tiny wheaten gal, weighing in at approximately 10 lbs. Her name was donated in memory of the donor's father, who's favorite dog was Penny.
Mama Lee - another small girl, a black brindle. She is a little larger at approximately 12 lbs.
Grandpa Dean - a wheaten boy, weighing in at 14 lb. His name was donated in memory of Julie R‘s Grandfather.
With the very generous help of Steve and Cheryl J. and Penny M., these kids were picked up and brought home, where they will be cleaned up a bit and loved on before moving to the vet on Monday.
Thanks to all who gave of themselves to help this family!!
Welcome, little ones!
