I'd like to introduce Macallan, our newest intake into Col. Potter. Macallan came to this family as a rescue to have as a pet for their 12 year old daughter. Even though he was 12 years old, a tad blind, slow moving and had some medical problems, they opened their hearts and home to this little boy.
However, Macallan never moved as quick as when he was chasing their 5 rescued cats. Most of the owner's cats were fast enough to escape Macallan's advances, but there was one older cat in this home that just loved to taunt Macallan. One day Ms. Taunting was coming inside through the cat door and Macallan saw his chance. The poor puddy cat couldn't maneuver fast enough to get away, and thankfully no one got hurt, but this was enough to worry the Owners into finding a new home for Macallan.
They contacted Col. Potter, and now Macallan, our sweet, older puddy cat chaser, will be in the warm and loving care of his foster home, which incidentally doesn't have any cats.
