Slugger’s been here almost a week and he's a real sweetie pie. He lets everyone have their own space and is as peaceful as can be. Sometimes, he just naps in his crate. He hasn’t shown any interest in toys, birds, or squirrels, but he will sit outside near the cow pasture and just wait and wait and wait - hoping to see some cows, I guess. He came from a farm and misses his farm animals. He knows some commands like “come,” “sit,” and “let’s eat.” He also goes to the door and barks once when he wants outside. If you don't go right away, he barks once more. He’s had no accidents and no marking. He's too good to be true, I tell you! He gets along great with the resident kids – cats, too. He’s an all-around great guy looking for a great home. He’s still in his evaluation period, but this kid is a dream. He is being fostered in Florida and you can click here to learn more about him or the other cairns available for adoption.
